RICHARD REYNOLDS | cities, localisation
Richard Reynolds is known as The Guerilla Gardener. He has pioneered and brought to international public attention a global movement to make cities liveable – to take back the urban space – through gardening regardless of the obstacles. Since 2004 he has gardened without boundaries and shares his obsession with audiences around the world. His book On Guerrilla Gardening has most recently been translated into Korean. This spring as part of the new Chelsea Fringe festival he launched a new website for his campaign to Pimp Your Pavement and encourages people to both do it as well as map pimped pavements around the world. When not gardening or talking about gardening he earns his living as a freelance advertising strategist.
