Pär Larshans is Chief Sustainability officer at the Swedish, family-owned Max Hamburger Restaurants. He has been at Max for more than 26 years, drawing inspiration from Max’s owners and their business practice based on Responsibility. A much requested speaker on topics such as leadership, inspiration, sustainability, and human rights, Pär also lectures on behalf of the Swedish foreign ministry, where he works with leaders from China, Russia, India and many other countries on sustainable leadership in business and society. He is a guest teacher for Novare management programs and a certified THE trainer. As part of the Real Change program initiated by The Natural Step, Pär has recently joined a four year research team to define the principles behind a sustainable society. He lives in Sweden.
