JESPER PAGH | cities, design

Jesper Pagh holds a degree in architecture from The Royal Danish Academy of fine Arts’ School of Architecture and is currently doing an industrial PhD at the Danish Architectural Press where he is a member of the editorial staff at the journal Arkitektur DK. The PhD project ‘Designing Sustainable Communities’ explores how architecture and design can contribute to the sustainable development of the future welfare society, and create a framework for the new notions of ‘the good life’ and ‘the common good.’The project is being carried out in collaboration with the Department of Environmental, Social and Spatial Change at Roskilde University, associated with the education Plan, City & Process.

From 2004-2010 Pagh was a designer and partner in the design consultancy ‘Move’ where he focused on the interaction between design, shape and space, sustainability, technology and human behaviour while also running the Danish design network Link UP with fellow designers.
