NICK JANKEL | philosophy, coaching
Nick is a Cambridge-educated psychological coach, ‘innovation guru’ and philosopher. His life’s work is to enlighten, empower and enable people to co-create a radically better life / community / world. He has had his own 4-part series on BBC and has been a guest on Radio 1 and on MTV. He designed the national outreach experience for BBC’s 3-year mental wellbeing programme, Headroom and was given EU funding to develop the world’s first and only peer-to-peer coaching programme that offers the marginalised the best empowerment tools on the planet. Prior to this he founded an innovation agency, aged 24, and grew it into a world-renowned consultancy helping thought-leading Fortune 500 firms (from Microsoft and PlayStation to Tesco and Diageo) spot and seize disruptive opportunities for growth.
He and his work have been featured in The Guardian, The Independent, The Financial Times, Cosmopolitan, Glamour and The Sunday Times amongst many other publications. Nick is a ‘formidable speaker’ (keynotes at The Economist, The European Parliament, Nike and the Cheltenham Design Festival amongst many others); a ‘mind-blowing teacher’ (at Oxford University, Bath Management School, UCL, Kaos Pilots and more); and a ‘true master’ at helping people ‘Switch On’ to life through profound, practical and playful experiences that seamlessly blend psychology, science and strategy into one. He believes purpose-driven innovation and authentic leadership are the ‘double-helix’ underling all breakthrough in our personal lives and in society as a whole – and that if we all have to Switch On, our hearts and our minds, if we want to co-create a future worthy of our noblest aspirations.
